It's been like 3 years since i have has to do anything with the basic genetics I was exposed to in middle school and high school. I would like to have this review so my brain can get back up to speed. Thursday (6:30-9:30) would not work for me due to my Abnormal Psychology class. However all other times would be fine.

I would like to have a review session to get some basic genetics questions answered and to just be clear on everything. I think that if I have a good grasp on all of the background info (like all of the first chapter) then the rest of the material we learn throughout the semester will hopefully be easier to figure out. I have night class on Thursdays. Friday or saturday works fine. I already have a couple questions I want to ask.. like going over the different types of RNA for review.
I think a review session would be good to have, especially since I have not had much genetic background. I believe it would be good to have a review so I can understand all of the concepts better, since I have not had any basic genetics courses since high school. Friday or Saturday for a review session would work well for me.
so i didn't know where to put this but i read the article (http://dsc.discovery.com/news/2009/02/06/genetic-animals-medicine.html) about goats being genetically engineered to produce milk containing a natural protein that thins blood. the FDA approved the drug, which is a big deal, the FDA also released their policy on drugs from genetically engineered animals. the article said that the policy doesn't force genetically engineered food to be labeled as such. I think the food should be labeled, whether its organic or engineered. interesting to think we might soon have natural drugs from engineered animals.
